In the scope of SONIC FRAGILITIES
Cables are lines. Lines connect us and, at the same time, define boundaries. In Laura Mello’s workshop, we explore the role of cables in the history of communication while actively engaging in the plastic process of shaping communication tools. We build the simplest form of telephone technology — the cup-and-string telephone — and then try it out as a collective.
Recycled materials will be provided.
For ages 12 (children with parents) and up.

SONIC FRAGILITIES
A project by Errant Sound @ Floating Berlin
Program and map
On the branching footbridges and floating platforms of the Floating Universitythe, 13 Errant Sound artists will develop a concert installation extending over two days. The individual contributions have different formats, are perfoRmative or installative, involve visitors or move with them to specific locations on the site. Openness and simultaneity create a fragile structure of acoustic interactions. Initiated by Steffi Weismann.
